I am a typical Malamute, so it would be nice to go to a home who is familiar with the breed. I am very strong, don't like being restraint or overly handled. I also do show some possessiveness over food. I must go to a home without any kids or cats. I am still a young guy, with lots of energy to learn! I do well on a leash, and just pull lightly, but I can be very jumpy ! My friends at the shelter believe I would do fine with a higher energy confident dog, but its suggested that we meet before leaving !
