Team Lead Animal Care: Jessica LeBouthillier
As a Team Lead at PAW, Jessica plays a key role in supporting weekday shelter operations and ensuring consistent, compassionate care for the animals and team members she works alongside. She first joined PAW in 2017, beginning her journey in animal control before transitioning to an animal attendant role during the COVID-19 period. In 2021, she stepped into her current role as Team Lead.
Jessica is cross trained in all areas of the shelter and brings a deep understanding of its operations, allowing her to support staff wherever needed. Over the years, she has gained extensive hands-on experience working with animals of all backgrounds and needs, developing strong skills rooted in patience, observation, and care.
What Jessica finds most rewarding is witnessing animals grow and thrive; watching them come out of their shells, recover from illness or neglect, and ultimately find their forever homes. Being part of that transformation is what motivates her every day.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, her dog, and her four cats. She also loves getting outdoors to go hiking and discovering waterfalls, finding balance and inspiration in nature.
