At PAW, we recognize that surrendering your pet is a difficult decision. We strive to ensure a compassionate process for everyone involved. The employees and volunteers at PAW work tirelessly to make sure animals adjust well to their new settings. However, your pet is ultimately most comfortable in a place where they are familiar.

We have numerous programs to support you and your pets. We offer Roxy's Pet Pantry, Healthy Moms, Healthy Litters, and the Pet Safekeeping program . These programs work to ensure that pets can stay with their families.

Please keep in mind that we do not have the capacity to accept all owner surrenders, and that surrendering an animal to us means that we have one less space to offer to other animals in need.

Our surrender fees for cats and dogs range from $50 to $150. These fees help offset the significant costs associated with caring for and rehoming animals. These fees may be placed towards expenses such as food, shelter, medical care, and staffing.
