Community Programs Manager: Renée Cormier, BSc.
As Community Programs Manager at People for Animal Wellbeing (PAW), Renée leads initiatives that connect volunteers, programs, and community engagement efforts to the shelter’s mission. With a background in management and administration, she has been a lifelong animal lover and supporter of PAW.
Renée began volunteering with the organization in the early 2000s by walking dogs and has remained dedicated to helping animals in need ever since. She joined the PAW team in 2024, excited to oversee and grow the volunteer program, lead the PAW Pals initiative, manage Retail & Rescue by PAW, and support the development team with event planning and fundraising.
Outside of work, Renée enjoys the company of her dapper gentleman, Monsieur Moustache, a cat she adopted from PAW in May 2024.
