Think of him as a lovable bull in a China shop - he means well, but his manners definitely need some work! He gets **very excited** and shows it by jumping up on people, helping himself to the tables, and enthusiastically mouthing at arms when he's feeling extra happy. He's not trying to be rude... he's just *really bad at saying hello or playing politely! He also has food possessiveness, so he'll need an experienced adopter who understands resource guarding and is prepared to work with him using patient, consistent training. Because of this, he needs to be the only pet in the home and a home without children. This handsome guy has plenty of personality and a lot of potential. He'll need someone who can provide structure, boundaries, training, and - most importantly - a willingness to help him learn that being a big guy means he needs **big manners, too!** He's not a finished product, but with the right person, some patience, and plenty of positive reinforcement, he has every opportunity to become the well-mannered companion hiding underneath all that enthusiastic chaos.
