Come visit me at PAW - Adoption fee $390 - This is Osiris. Osiris was found as a stray so we do not know how he will act in a home. What we do know about him is his behaviours exhibited in a shelter environment. He may change when he gets comfortable in his new home. Osiris is quite reserved and timid when it comes to new people, and new places. He will need someone with knowledge in dog body language, and someone who will be patient and understand he needs time to become comfortable in new situations. He is not a fan of handling, and gets stressed easily when trying to clip his nails, check his teeth, etc. Osiris has shown possessiveness towards food and treats. He has reacted negatively with growling, and hackles up when trying to go near him during meal time. We highly recommend training as soon as he goes home to correct these behaviours so everyone stays safe in the home. He will need a home without any other pets or children as they make him far too nervous. Even though Osiris will have a long road ahead of him with training, we are sure he will be a wonderful dog in the right hands. We are looking forward to finding someone who will put the time and effort into Osiris that is necessary for him to flourish into a wonderful dog. He has lots of potential and we are excited for his next chapter.
