Come visit me at PAW - Adoption fee $390 - Hey friends, I'm Rex! I am a 55 pound goofball. I love having fun, playing, and hanging out with my people. But I only have one speed and that's FAST. I will need help with basic obedience and ensuring I don't make messes in the house. I am a high energy, athletic guy who will need an active lifestyle with not only physical exercise but mental stimulation as well! My back legs are filled with springs and when I get going I bounce around trying to play. I don't understand my size, or the fact not everyone wants to be chewed on when I get too excited, so it would be beneficial my new family teach me some manners. I do know my cues though, and I can walk pretty decently on leash for the most part after I have a few minutes to calm down, so that is a start! Due to my mouthy, jumpy, and high energy levels I would be best suited in a home with no small children, and I will need to meet any dogs in the home prior to adoption. I hope my new family will also help me with give and take exercises and other activities they can do with me to help with the slight possessive issue I have shown my friends at the shelter. Food is just so yummy I don't want to share or give it up! I am a smart dog and with some training (that I am sure I will catch on quickly with) I can make a wonderful addition to your family. I hope my new people will have all kinds of summer fun in the backyard with me in the sun! (As long as you have a ball or a squeaky toy we can throw around you have a bestie for life!)
