In response to the community’s need for support as a result of the pandemic, we’ve initiated a unique program called Another Chance Food Bank.
We’ve developed a new program called Another Chance Food Bank in response to the community’s need for assistance as a result of the pandemic. To ensure that financial constraints don’t separate families from their pets, this program ensures that free food is provided for pet owners in need throughout Southeastern New Brunswick.
Thanks to the ongoing support from the community, we have been able to extend our Another Chance Food Bank program and make it a permanent program offering at PAW in the Greater Moncton Area. This community support program will assist individuals in our community who require assistance in caring for their pets during these challenging times. If the cost of feeding your pet is causing financial hardship for you, Another Chance Food Bank can provide you with temporary support free of charge, delivery is also available to ensure there are no barriers to accessing this support. To apply for the Second Chance Food Bank program, fill out the following application here.
If you would like to support this initiative by making a donation, you can drop off pet food (unopened bags only please) or other pet products at the shelter any time at our contactless donation drop-off area.
For more information about the program or to learn about our simple application process and to request food for your pet(s).
